Pseudonames

  • Jonathan Freedland defends his decision to write under a pseudonym at The Guardian.
Pseudonyms are more common than you might think. I've known many, many writers who've used them; I haven't, but I will occasionally stumble across something I've written in the past and wish that I had. Still, Freedland's article is an interesting peek into one area of writing that is, more or less, a necessary evil.
