Pryor’s voice was his own, as a writer, performer and, most of all, comedian. Like Lenny Bruce before him and Bill Hicks after, Pryor’s only weapon was truth, and he wielded it fearlessly. And, fittingly, he died with a smile on his face. He is already missed.
